Privacy notice

This notice describes how personal data is processed when you visit vertexscape.app or write to us. It matches the current static site: there is no account system, no contact form, no first-party analytics, and no cookie banner.

What this site does

vertexscape.app is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Site code does not set cookies, does not use localStorage or sessionStorage, and does not load analytics, advertising, social pixels, or third-party fonts. The only client script opens and closes the mobile navigation menu.

Hosting, security, and logs (Cloudflare)

The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). Cloudflare acts as a processor for hosting, content delivery, DDoS protection, and related security.

When you request a page, Cloudflare typically processes access and security metadata such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, and user agent. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating and securing the website).

Retention follows Cloudflare’s operations, security practices, and customer data processing terms. Logs are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and security. This notice does not invent a specific retention period.

Cookie data processed by Cloudflare may be processed in the United States unless a Cloudflare localisation product is enabled. Transfers rely on Cloudflare’s Customer Data Processing Addendum and standard contractual clauses, not on a claim that no international transfers occur.

Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies depending on which security features are enabled for the zone. Examples described in Cloudflare’s cookie documentation include __cf_bm (bot products such as Bot Fight Mode) and challenge cookies (for example cf_clearance) if a challenge is shown. This site does not claim that those cookies are always present.

Because first-party code sets no cookies and any Cloudflare cookies of this kind are strictly necessary for security or delivery, this site does not show a cookie consent banner. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Contact email

If you write to vertexscape@gmail.com, you send whatever you include in the message (typically your name, email address, and message content). Mail is processed by Google (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) as part of Gmail.

Providing personal information through email is voluntary. However, if you do not provide enough information for us to understand and respond to your enquiry, we may be unable to assist you.

Purpose: answering enquiries. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the message is pre-contractual; otherwise Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in responding). Messages are kept only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any applicable Czech legal duties (for example accounting or legal claims). No fixed year count is stated here.

Google’s processing of Gmail is described in Google’s own terms and privacy policy. That involves transfers to the United States under Google’s contractual safeguards.

Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling in connection with website visits or email enquiries.

What we do not do

• No analytics, marketing tags, profiling, or advertising identifiers.
• No user accounts, newsletters, or contact forms.
• No first-party cookies from site code.
• No Google Fonts, embedded videos, or third-party widgets.

Outbound links

Product cards and catalogue links go to Fab (Epic Games). Those sites have their own privacy policies and cookies. This site does not embed Fab content; following a link is a navigation to a third-party service.

International transfers

Hosting and email involve processing in the United States (Cloudflare; Google). Safeguards are the providers’ customer contracts, including Cloudflare’s Customer DPA / SCCs and Google’s contractual terms. This site does not claim that personal data stays only in the EU.

Your rights

Where GDPR applies, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and data portability, in so far as those rights apply to the processing described here. Send requests to vertexscape@gmail.com.

You may lodge a complaint with the Czech supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, ÚOOÚ): uoou.cz.
